Congratulations. They have it easiest: order RCCMD AS/400-Client, install it and inform your UPSMAN/RCCMD server or your USV/UPS with CS121 of the IP address which are used for communication. Finished. The event control is regulated reliably now by means of TCP/IP communication.
For customers, who have a USV/UPS, but not yet RCCMD:
Congratulations. They are on the best way to decide for the simplest and most effective USV/UPS solution. They need only the Battery Backup thier AS/400, and:

From now on, the RCCMD Server/the CS121 "talks" with your USV/UPS. It supervises and controlls independently, in the event of a power failure, the battery condition and implements your predefined measures when necessary. The AS/400 does not even need to now of the presence of the USV/UPS! Even if you select another USV/UPS manufacturer. You decide, which of your actions are to be implemented with power failure on your AS400. No default prevents you from the realization of your PWRDWNSYS process. And the monitoring costs 0% CPU!
